SPOKANE, Wash. — One person is in custody after a three-car hit-and-run crash on I-90 Tuesday evening.
According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), troopers responded to a report of a hit-and-run crash on I-90 near the Division Street exit just after 5 p.m. When law enforcement arrived, three cars were involved in the crash, and one driver fled the scene.
WSP said the suspect was found on US 2 near South Hayford Road in Airway Heights. The suspect was taken into custody on DUI charges.
One lane was closed during this incident, which caused a significant traffic delay. The road is now clear.
This incident remains under investigation.
