KELLOGG, Idaho — A person suspected of shooting someone in Kellogg was arrested early Thursday morning, according to the Kellogg Police Department.

In a release, Kellogg police said their officers, as well as deputies with the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office, responded to a report of an attempted burglary that led to a shooting on the 200 block of Chestnut Street.

Law enforcement officers at the scene found the gun that was fired was done so as a “result of a domestic dispute between parties,” which escalated into an incident with property damage and multiple injuries.

A victim was taken to the hospital, while the shooter was booked into the Spokane County Jail.
