SPOKANE, Wash. – An 18-year-old was arrested Saturday morning after a shooting in downtown Spokane Friday night.
Richard Smith, 18, was arrested on charges of first-degree assault after shooting someone at East Avenue 2nd and South Division Street. The Spokane Police Department (SPD) confirmed the victim was transported to the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.
On Feb. 21, SPD and SWAT responded to an apartment near East 5th Avenue and South Havana Street. Smith was arrested and booked into the Spokane County Jail.
