Highway 2 at Stevens Pass is closed in both directions due to heavy wind and snow, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
WSDOT closed the pass Thursday afternoon and gave no estimate for when it would reopen.
Snow at the pass is expected to subside later Thursday evening as a colder and drier system moves through.
