WASHINGTON – SR 20 North Cascades Highway is temporarily closed due to snow and rain forecasts, Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) announced.
The closure, which started at 5 p.m. today, is based on safety and current weather conditions.
The long-term forecast predicts drier weather next week.
WSDOT said it will assess the situation for a potential reopening on Monday, Nov. 17.
However, reopening is not guaranteed and will depend on the actual conditions.
