SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Alliance for Fentanyl Education will cohost a youth summit highlighting the fentanyl crisis at the Washington State University Spokane campus on March 28.

Attendees will learn about the fentanyl epidemic and dialogue about ways to support families impacted by drug abuse. Lunch will be provided, and the event will take place from 10 am to 1 pm.

A Washington State Department of Health study published on Wednesday expressed concern regarding increased drug misuse amongst teenagers.

Both educators and students will lead training and discussions.
