SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – A construction worker was rescued by the Spokane Valley Fire Department after becoming trapped in a trench.
The Spokane Valley Fire Department said they responded to East 1st Avenue and Dishman Mica Road around 2 p.m.
The worker was buried from the abdomen down by dirt when working on a water main pipe.
Fire crews quickly got the worker out.
The extent of the injuries are unknown.
