SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Transit Authority (STA) will be hosting a series of four open houses across the county aimed at strengthening community engagement regarding regional transportation projects.

Beyond learning about current STA projects, future initiatives and upcoming infrastructural transportation developments, residents who attend the open houses will have the opportunity to interact with representatives from local municipalities and other key stakeholders to hear about their planned initiatives and investments.

“We are excited to invite the community to join us for these open houses as we continue to work with our partners to improve transportation for everyone in Spokane County,” said E. Susan Meyer, CEO of Spokane Transit Authority. “These events are an essential platform for us to engage with the public, gather feedback, and ensure that our services meet the evolving needs of our region.”

The open houses will run from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the following dates and locations: March 14 at the Spokane Valley Public Library, March 28 at the Spokane County Library in Airway Heights and April 9 at the Ground Floor Rotunda in the STA Plaza.

The second open house will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Northeast Community Center in Spokane.

The STA encourages all community members to attend these open houses to share their thoughts, ideas and concerns regarding transportation in Spokane County.
