SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane has put their name on the map in the live entertainment and event industry.
In 2022 to 2023, Spokane had the biggest jump of any market in the nation for live events according to Pollstar.
The Spokane Arena hosted 18 concerts in 2023 with some big names that helped make it a memorable year including Shaina Twain, Macklemore, and even Adam Sandler.
This is considerably higher than the two years prior that only included three total concerts.
Our partners at the Spokesman Review had the chance to talk with the Spokane Arena Director of Entertainment Matt Meyer.
He was excited to witness the success in Spokane entertainment industry and said “That kind of recognition in the largest industry publication is massive. Everyone in the industry, from managers to venues and beyond, sees what Spokane is accomplishing. It’s a huge tip of the hat.”
Spokane continues the excitement and has a large list of events coming up in the area for every type of fan.
A few notable events being The PBR, Blake Shelton, and the first round of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament.
