SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Public Library system has offered a list of suggested titles to celebrate Women’s History Month.

Spokane Public Library’s suggestions include several works by pacific northwest locals, including Feeding Ghosts by Tessa Hulls and The Lost Journals of Sacajawea by Debra Magpie Earling.

The list was compiled by Sharma Shields, an author and writing education specialist with the library system who wrote The Sasquatch Hunters’ Almanac and The Cassandra.

Women’s History Month is celebrated throughout the month of March and has been a national tradition since the early 1980s.
