
SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a 19-year-old man wanted on multiple felony charges, including attempted kidnapping and attempted rape.
According to officials, Javier Seaman-Buckenberger faces charges of attempted kidnapping in the first degree, attempted rape in the second degree, assault in the second degree, residential burglary, theft in the second degree and two counts of theft of a motor vehicle.
The charges stem from multiple incidents that occurred over recent weeks, prompting several calls for service.
Authorities are urging community members who spot Seaman-Buckenberger or know his whereabouts to immediately contact Crime Check at (509-456-2233) and reference incident number 2026-20086646.
“We urge the public to NOT engage with Seaman-Buckenberger as he is considered a danger due to the violent nature of these crimes,” police said.
Police said there is currently no information suggesting he is armed.
Anyone with information about Seaman-Buckenberger’s location should contact police immediately rather than attempting to make contact themselves.
