SPOKANE, Wash. — A person was hospitalized in a stabbing in a fight on the lower South Hill afternoon, briefly prompting a large response from Spokane police.
Shortly after 2 p.m., Spokane Police Department officers responded to reports of a fight near Walnut and Ninth Avenue.
According to a police spokesperson, two people who knew each other were fighting when one stabbed the other. The victim was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries and the suspect cooperated with police.
The police spokesperson said that no charges had been filed and the investigation was ongoing.
