Spokane police arrest previously convicted felon after shooting

SPOKANE, Wash.- Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies coordinated with the Spokane Police Department to arrest a man with several previous felony convictions on Feb. 11 after he shot at a car during an argument.

The suspect, Billy Olson, allegedly engaged in an argument with another man in a parking lot near the 4900 block of E. Upriver Drive. Olson left the lot in his car for a few minutes before returning to the parking lot and engaging in continued argument with the man.

Olson got into his car and shot at the man with whom he was arguing several times as he drove away.

Sheriff’s deputies notified other law enforcement agencies of his vehicle description and he was pulled over in an unrelated Spokane Police Department traffic stop as a passenger.

He was charged with three separate crimes related to the shooting and was booked in Spokane County Jail.
