SPOKANE, Wash. – David Lee Fullmer has been sentenced to 5 years in federal prison for conspiring to distribute fentanyl.

According to the Department of Justice, Fullmer was arrested in Spokane County in August 2023 by a Washington State Patrol trooper. He was driving a rented truck which contained a stolen handgun and 18,000 fentanyl pills.

A search warrant executed on Fullmer’s home uncovered another 1,000 pills and two more guns.

Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Special Agent Richard Collodi touted the sentence as a win for public safety.

“Mr. Fullmer was putting countless lives at risk each time he facilitated the distribution of these drugs into our community,” Collodi said.

Fullmer’s fentanyl distribution spread across several states including Utah, Arizona and Idaho. He will serve an additional five years of supervised release after his 60 month prison sentence.
