LEWISTON, Idaho.- A man who was convicted for stalking and domestic violence in November of 2023 was sentenced to 15 years in prison on Feb. 7.

Spokane resident Montrez Mayberry was arrested in June of 2023 in Lewiston after throwing food at a female while she was driving. She had previously secured a No Contact Order to prevent Mayberry from engaging with her.

He then attempted to punch her, causing the woman to sustain a broken finger. She was also punched in the eye, causing her to pull over the vehicle.

He then drove them to her home, where she contacted the Lewiston Police Department. The officers found bruises on the woman’s legs which she said were the result of violence from Mayberry over the previous days.
