POST FALLS, Idaho. — A Spokane man was arrested in Post Falls on aggravated assault allegedly after confronting hotel staff with a gun.
Post Falls police officers responded to a report of aggravated assault of a hotel guest on Jan. 9 at a local hotel.
The hotel staff described to police that a guest was being loud in their room and that when asked to quiet down a gun was pulled.
The suspect was identified as 56-year-old Eric Justice from Spokane.
Post Falls police arrived and quickly secured the hotel and evacuated guests surrounding Justice’s room.
A Post Falls Special Response Team was called to assist in the arrest of Justice and gave him directions to come out and surrender.
Shortly after that Justice exited his room and surrendered to police and was taken into custody.
