SPOKANE, Wash. – Motie Curtis appeared in court today after being arrested for allegedly fleeing the scene of a deadly crash.

On March 13 a man was hit and killed by a car according to law enforcement. Marisa Jolley was arrested and charged with drunk driving and vehicular homicide for allegedly hitting the victim with her Corolla.

According to court documents, Curtis was driving his Audi behind Jolley and hit the pedestrian who was lying in the road after they were initially hit by the Corolla.

Curtis then allegedly drove away and parked at a Longhorn Barbecue where he fled the scene.

The Medical Examiner believes that the pedestrian may have been alive when they were hit a second time. Curtis says that he hit some debris but did not think that he’d struck a person or vehicle according to court documentation.

Curtis is currently in Spokane County Jail and facing a felony charge for the alleged conduct.
