SPOKANE, Wash.- The Spokane Great Outdoors and Bike Expo will take place this weekend at the convention center.
The expo will include free training in various outdoor skills including knot-tying and essential items to pack for an excursion.
Exhibitors will also have the chance to sell bikes, equipment and other goods to attendees.
In addition to local businesses, several governmental organizations including the U.S. Army, Washington Air National Guard, the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife and Washington State Parks will be in attendance.
Families are encouraged to attend the event, which will have programming for children including indoor biking and marshmallow roasting.
The event will begin at 9am on Feb. 17 and will be open through Feb. 18 at 4pm.
