Spokane firefighters respond to apartment fire on Spokane’s South Hill

SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Fire Department responded to a fire on the third story of an apartment complex on Spokane’s South Hill this morning.

Fire crews were called to a three-story apartment complex on the South Hill near Tenth Avenue and Walnut Street around 9:20 a.m. this morning.

According to the Spokane Fire Department, the fire started in a bedroom on the third story. Crews at this time don’t know if someone was in the room at that time or what caused the fire.

Spokane firefighters went inside the building to fight this fire and were able to quickly extinguish it. There have been no reported injuries from crews or residents.

Fire investigators are on scene to determine what caused this fire.
