SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) is searching for a walk away from the Valley Hospital.
SCSO said that around 1:15 p.m., Eastern State Hospital informed Spokane Valley deputies that Jamil Fields, 28, had left the hospital.
Fields is a 5′ 8″ African American man with a thin build and black hair. Fields was last seen wearing a green hoodie, red sweatpants and white shoes. It is unknown where he may be going or if he plans to return to the Pullman or Colfax area.
SCSO said in 2022, Fields was found not guilty by reason of insanity to a drive-by shooting in Whitman County. He was committed to Eastern State Hospital for treatment.
