SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) announced a new ‘groundbreaking initiative’ to improve public safety in the Spokane Community.
Spokane Sentential is a program offered to local businesses and other organizations to collaborate with SCSO on crime prevention.
“Spokane Sentinel empowers businesses/organizations to directly contribute to the safety and security of Spokane County and their employees by sharing live video feeds from their surveillance cameras with the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Real-Time Crime Center,” SCSO said.
This effort is aimed at allowing law enforcement to respond more efficiently and effectively to enhance public safety while building a solid partnership with the Spokane community.
Flock Safety will be connecting the business’s cameras to SCSO. SCSO said that while the program is being introduced, Spokane businesses and organizations can connect their cameras at no cost.
