SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. – As heavy snow continues to fall throughout the region, Spokane County crews will continue to monitor priority roadways.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), the Inland Northwest could see an additional six to seven inches of snow by the end of the night on Wednesday. NWS said the heaviest snowfall will happen between noon and 5 p.m.

Spokane County crews have been on the roads since early morning, working to plow and sand Priority One roads.

Light snow is expected Thursday night into Friday, with freezing temperatures causing concern for an icy morning commute. The public is asked to help clear snow, ice and debris from storm drains.
