SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Police Department is searching for a 23-year-old man who is suspected of assault.
According to SPD, officers responded to a call reporting an assault around West Mansfield and North Monroe around 8 p.m. on March 16. The suspect fled the scene and police are searching for him with K9s. Police say he is not a threat to the public, but they believe he is armed.
Police have identified the man but have not released his name. He is wearing a black shirt, jeans, and a tan hoodie.
SPD is urging people to avoid the area and to call 911 immediately if they have any information on the situation.
