SPOKANE, Wash.— Spokane Police have arrested two people involved in a car chase.
According to SPD, officers received a call on Sunday afternoon about someone who pointed a handgun at the caller and someone he was with. Officers were able to locate the car and attempted to speak to the suspects.
The suspects fled from the scene and police chased them to the area around Division and Francis. SPD patrol cars blocked the suspect’s car, forcing the suspect to step out of the vehicle. Both suspects were arrested.
SPD said the driver was arrested for an attempt to elide, DUI, and two counts of reckless endangerment. The passenger was arrested for second-degree assault.
Officers are currently investigating and will update when more information is available.
