South Hill Spokane home catches fire amid freezing temperatures

SPOKANE, Wash. – A home on the South Hill caught on fire Saturday morning in freezing temperatures.

Spokane Fire Department responded to a call for a house fire around 7:40AM Saturday morning.

According to chief Julie O’Berg the new Interim Fire Chief of the Spokane Fire Department there was no injuries, and everyone made it out of the house.

The Spokane American Red Cross is stepping in to support the family and pets that were affected by the fire.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
