SPOKANE, Wash. – A six-time convicted felon is back in jail after he fled from a traffic stop and crashed in a Spokane parking lot.

Robby Wahrer, 43, was wanted for a felony warrant after violating probation for a homicide charge. On Oct. 23, around 1:30 a.m., Wahrer was seen riding a motorcycle without a license plate on North Division Street. A Spokane County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) deputy followed Wahrer into a business parking lot and attempted to conduct a traffic stop.

When Wahrer saw the deputy, he fled south through the parking lot and crashed. According to the deputy, it looked like Wahrer was ready to escape on foot while being commanded to stop and get on the ground. Eventually, Wahrer put his hands up and complied with additional commands. He was taken safely into custody without further incident.

Detectives searched Wahrer and the backpack he was wearing. They found approximately $2,100, 155 grams of suspected Methamphetamine, 83 grams of suspected Cocaine, 22 grams of suspected Heroin and about 3,500 pills believed to contain Fentanyl. Also located were multiple zip-top bags commonly used to sell illegal narcotics.

Wahrer was booked on four counts of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver and on the felony US Marshal’s warrant.
