Single lane closures on I-90 near Ritzville will continue through Friday

RITZVILLE, Wash. — Heads up drivers, there will be a single lane closure in both directions on I-90 between SR-21 and 1st Avenue until Friday morning.

The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) released that they will be replacing sensors on that strip of I-90 so that they can collect traffic data.

In order for them to do their work safely they set up single lane closures in both directions between 7 a.m. – 4 p.m.

If you are headed out towards Ritzville, expect minor delays from this.

Also, WSDOT also released that there will be single lane closures at night on I-90 for both directions from Tokio to Ritzville (milepost 231 to milepost 218). This closure will be set in place until Oct. 20 when they are done striping the road.
