HELENA. Mont. – Following the first significant snowfall, crews at Showdown Montana ski resort are actively preparing for the upcoming season. Despite initial concerns over the lack of snow, the team is optimistic and working diligently to ensure everything is ready for opening day.
With the recent snowfall, resort staff are busy dusting off lifts and gathering essential gear like helmets and ski poles. They aim to welcome visitors as soon as possible.
“Always a little disheartening when we don’t have snow, but we just do what we can,” said Avery Patrick, VP marketing director of Showdown Montana. “So, when it does come that we’re as prepared as we can and we can move quickly and get the mountain open.”
The resort is monitoring conditions closely and has tentatively set December 12 as the opening day. While this date could change, the team remains pleased with the current weather conditions.
