SPOKANE, Wash. – The Seattle Seahawks made their way to the state’s east side to visit kids at Providence Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital.

Tre Brown, Jerrick Reed and mascot Blitz visited the hospital on Nov. 14 in what is now an annual tradition. Starting in 2018, this was supposed to be a yearly event. It got canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic but kicked off again in 2022.

The players visited many parts of the hospital, including the neonatal intensive care unit, general pediatric unit and more.

“It means the world to be here… to be able to give back, to reach out to people who don’t have much or are going through times. You know, bring that Christmas joy… it means a lot to me,” said Reed.

The Seattle Seahawks, Washington Trust Bank and the Anderson family from Spokane make this visit possible.

The Seahawks will play their next game on Nov. 19 at 1:25 p.m. against the Los Angeles Rams.
