RATHDRUM, Idaho – Rathdrum Police Department has arrested two people and charged them with possession of meth and other controlled substances.
On Feb. 26, at around 1:45 a.m., a Rathdrum police officer, while conducting a property check on local businesses, saw an occupied vehicle at a closed business.
When the officers contacted the two people, they spotted drugs inside the vehicle and an investigation was conducted.
Police arrested and identified the two suspects as Sarah Zumwalt and Robin James.
Zumwalt had two felony warrants and along with being arrested for her warrants, she was also arrested for possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and providing false information to officers.
James was charged with possession of a controlled substance -methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
Both of them were arrested and booked in the Kootenai County Public Safety Building.
