STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. – A Suncrest resident entered the race for the State House seat after the departure of Joel Kretz.
Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers will be endorsing Bell in his race.
“Pat knows the district, he knows the people, and he knows the issues. I am excited to see him step up as a next-generation leader, and know he will be a strong voice for the people of the 7th,” said McMorris Rodgers.
Bell previously worked as a senior staff member under McMorris Rodgers managing electoral campaigns for 8 consecutive years.
In Bell’s release he outlined his family history in Washington saying he comes from a long line of farmers in the district.
Although hoping to secure a seat in the house, he currently works for Spokane County and even helps market his family ranch’s beef.
