Over 1000 people without power near Priest Lake after tree falls on substation

SANDPOINT, Wash. – Over 1000 people on the west side of Priest Lake are without power due to an outage stemming from the Lamb Creek Substation.

According to the Northern Lights Power Company, a fallen tree damaged the transmission circuit that serves the substation. As a result, 1,587 people are currently without power.

Northern Lights personnel are addressing the problem and believe power should be restored in a few hours.
