Our last afternoon in the 60s as warming trend hits a new gear 🌤️

It’s our last day where we’ll have more high temperatures in the 60s instead of the 70s and 80s for a little while as our warm-up continues.

Plan Your Wednesday

High pressure moves across the region on Wednesday, bringing mostly dry weather and highs in the 60s and low 70s. A weak disturbance will get a few showers going in the North Idaho mountains this afternoon, but coverage of rain will be less than the past couple of days. Any showers will diminish quickly after sunset.

What We’re Tracking

The warming trend continues through the weekend. Highs reach the 70s on Thursday, but the real heat arrives early next week. Temperatures will continue to climb through the weekend. Another disturbance on Saturday could lead to a few afternoon showers on Saturday. The 50th running of Bloomsday looks set to be one of the hottest editions of the race we’ve had, as afternoon highs flirt with 80 degrees.

Most areas are in the 80s by Monday as this springtime heat peaks early next week.
