OTHELLO, Wash. – The Adam’s County Sherrif’s Office arrested a man who stabbed his grandma and then fled the scene March 14.
Dario Ochoa, 23, reportedly stabbed his grandma near the 2600 block of West Kuhn Road in Othello and left the scene still armed with a knife.
Ochoa’s grandmother was immediately treated and then transported to Othello Community Hospital for her injuries.
Deputies worked to locate Ochoa shortly after just down the road from where his grandma was found.
After giving Ochoa multiple instructions and commands without compliance, the K9 “Nado” was used to safely apprehend him.
Nado also found other evidence near where Ochoa was arrested.
The condition of the grandma has not been released at this time.
Ochoa was booked into jail on suspicion of first degree assault.
