Organized retail theft suspects appear in court

SPOKANE, Wash. – Two people suspected of retail theft at the Northtown Mall Kohl’s appeared in court today.

According to court documents, Jessica Angulo and Ramona Killen were accompanied by a male when they entered Kohls on Feb. 29. All three of them then walked through the retailer and collected items.

The male then allegedly exited the store with a shopping cart containing $1,870 in merchandise.

Angulo and Killen were stopped by Kohl’s security and told to leave the store according to court documents. Law enforcement claimed that the women were in possession of $1,598 when they were stopped by security.

According to court documentation, Killen said that she intended to pay for the items and that she had left her mother’s credit card in the car in which all three people had arrived.

Killen and Angulo were both arrested at the scene. No information regarding the current whereabouts of the male who entered the store with them was included in the court documents released on March 1.

Both women are currently in Spokane County Jail and facing organized retail theft charges.
