One person unharmed after crashing into embankment

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Wash. — One driver is unharmed after a car crashed in an embankment off the State Route 17.

According to Douglas County Fire District #5, the fire station and Mansfield Ambulance personnel were told of an unknown collision around State Route 17 MP 108. RiverCom Dispatch advised of a single vehicle in the ditch with multiple airbags deployed.

Douglas County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) and Washington State Patrol (WSP) also responded to the call.

The driver was not injured, did not need medical attention, and was unharmed. According to DCSO, the driver was protected by the multiple airbags that went off and their seatbelt.
