November general election ballots officially being mailed out to Spokane County voters

SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — Wednesday was the first day of ballots being sent out for the General Election in November.

The Spokane County Elections Office sent out roughly 180,000 ballots. They will continue to mail ballots from Oct. 18 -20.

On Oct. 18, ballots were sent to residents in The City of Spokane and the southern portion of Spokane County.

Then, ballots will be mailed to another 180,000 residents in the rest of the County, such as residents of Spokane Valley.

Vicky Dalton, the Spokane County Auditor, told NonStop Local that ballots will be looking “busy” this year.

“They need to realize there’s going to be a lot of races on their ballot. They do have resources they can rely on…their trusty local Voter’s Pamphlet they can turn to and read a little bit about the candidates,” Dalton said.

While there are 180,000 ballots being mailed out, please be patient but keep checking your mailbox over the next couple of days!

If you don’t receive your ballot by October 30, please call the Spokane County Elections Office at (509) 477-2320.
