SPOKANE, Wash. — Bars and restaurants in Spokane, such as No-Li Brewhouse, are prepping for massive crowds in the days leading up to the NCAA Tournament.

No-Li Brewhouse expects to have roughly 1,000 customers per day during the games, as they believe basketball fans will go out in numbers to watch the tournaments.

“This could be the biggest five days… probably since Expo ’74. I mean, you had Garth Brooks, who did 7 concerts in 5 days…you have the Men’s NCAA first round, you have the Women’s NCAA first round and you have this high school national volleyball qualifier… all in one weekend. Every hotel within 50 miles is sold out,” John Bryant, No-Li Brewhouse’s owner, said.

Bryant told NonStop Local that while sales at businesses around town will thrive during all the events, the NCAA Tournament being in Spokane will have a positive impact on the City.

“We need to rise up and put our best face and celebrate this opportunity,” Bryant said.

No-Li Brewhouse expects massive crowds on Thursday when Gonzaga plays.
