KAMIAH, Idaho – The Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests will hold a two-day hiring event for an entry-level wildland firefighter and dispatcher.
The Forest Service states that the position will allow for paid training and travel, competitive pay (including overtime and hazard pay), federal employee benefits, such as medical, retirement and the opportunity for promotion.
The hiring event will take place on March 13 through 14 from 9 a.m. through 4 p.m. and will be located in the supervisor’s office at 1008 Highway 64.
The Forest Service recommends interested applicants attend the event as they would talk directly to recruitment officers and learn more details about the positions.
If you are not able to attend the applications will still be open from March 4 through March 15.
