Montana man receives 10 years in prison for meth trafficking

BOISE, Idaho – A man who was arrested by Idaho State Police for meth trafficking was sentenced to 10 years in prison on Tuesday.

Ralph Edwin Wheeler was taken into custody on Nov. 8 during a traffic stop while he was driving from Washington to Montana.

Wheeler reportedly admitted that he was translating a pound of meth across Idaho during the stop.

He will be eligible for parole after serving the first three years of his sentence.
