For individuals who were at one of those locations, SRHD advised that if an individual was not immune to measles, the latest they would see symptoms would be March 8.

“If an individual is experiencing symptoms of measles (high fever, cough, runny nose, red eyes, rash) and believes they may have been exposed, they should contact their health care provider,” SRHD said.

Health Officer Dr. Francisco Velazquez stressed that measles transmission is preventable and that all people who can receive measles vaccination should do so.
