SPOKANE, Wash. — The holiday season is about spending time with family and close friends, but some homebound seniors aren’t able to do that. Meals on Wheels Spokane is wanting to help those individuals feel special.

When these seniors are stuck inside on Christmas and not able to see their families that means they won’t be able to give gifts or feel the holiday spirit.

Meals on Wheels Spokane is holding a fundraiser to raise money and deliver gifts with over 600 meals to these local homebound seniors on a daily basis. They have currently raised $4,000 but are hoping to reach $25,000!

Some gifts to be given to seniors include:

If you are wanting to donate, Meals on Wheels Spokane has made an Amazon Holiday Wish List to purchase items from or you can make a donation for them to purchase items for you.

All Christmas gifts will need to be wrapped and tagged by Dec. 1 to make sure they get out to these seniors in time for the holidays. Make sure to make your donation by then so everyone can experience an exciting holiday season!
