COEUR D’ ALENE, Idaho — One man is arrested after trying to shoot someone in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.
According to the Coeur d’Alene Police Department, 59-year-old Jeffery Nally was arrested after police got a call about gunshots being fired on the 15000 block of East Elm Ave.
Nally initially denied that he shot at anyone but said he had an altercation with a man who drove away in an SUV.
Detectives were able to find surveillance video from a business showing Nally shooting at the car. They could locate the SUV driver, who did not provide any information.
According to detectives, no one was shot, and Nally was placed under arrest. He is being charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Shooting at an Occupied vehicle, Destruction of Evidence, and Fake Information to Law Enforcement.
