Love is in the air in Washington as divorce rates drop according to studies

SPOKANE, Wash. – Love is in the air this Valentine season as Washington sees a 5.3% decrease in divorce from 2021 to 2022, making it one of the top states in the nation for this statistic.

According to LendingTree, the studies break down the marriage and divorce rates across the country.

Idaho also experienced the love, securing the second position overall for the proportion of married residents, trailing closely behind Utah with 54.2% of married couples.

Nationally speaking, divorce rates followed suit and dropped 0.9% between 2021 to 2022.
