WALLA WALLA, Wash. — The Walla Walla Fire Department will hold a line-of-duty death memorial service for Fire Engineer Ryan Pleasants who died on duty on Jan. 7.
According to a Facebook post by the Southeast Washington Interagency Incident Management Team, the service will be on Saturday, Jan. 27 at 1:00 p.m. at Walla Walla Community College’s Dietrich Dome.
Emergency agencies are welcome to join the procession leading to the ceremony. Agencies looking to participate are required to register through this Google Form.
Southeast Washington Interagency Incident Management Team recommends that water-carrying engines arrive dry as overnight temperatures could be freezing, and there is no indoor vehicle staging location.
