SPOKANE, Wash. — For all those fans that aren’t quick enough to get tickets to Gonzaga men’s basketball home games, this is your chance, but you may want to act fast!

On Jan. 4, Gonzaga men’s basketball will be hosting the Pepperdine Waves at the Spokane Arena to tip off the West Coast Conference play for the “CCF Classic.” This is a great opportunity for the Spokane community to see their beloved Zags play in person!

Out of the 12,000 seats available at Spokane Arena, only 23 were still available on Jan. 3 at 11:30 a.m. These seats are selling fast, if you want to get a ticket, go to the Spokane Arena website!

Tickets right now range from $71 up to $500 for courtside seats.

There are other websites that are offering cheaper tickets to the CCF Classic, but be careful when purchasing a ticket and make sure the sites are legitimate.

If you do buy a ticket through the Spokane Arena website, a large portion of the money will go directly towards the Community Cancer Fund (CCF). The CCF fights against cancer and these funds go towards local organizations to support the fight.

CCF has given $500,000 to the Ronald McDonald House to support housing needs in the community and towards those individuals or families traveling to Spokane for care. They have also provided a $5 million pledge to WSU and Providence to launch the first pediatric oncology program here in Spokane.

Over 12,000 tickets have been sold, money will go towards overhead costs for the event and the rest will go to CCF, which will help the community support the fight against cancer.

Also, money raised will support other events that CCF hosts including their Showcase Golf Tournament, Camp Good Times and the Boulevard Run.

If you can’t go to the game or don’t have a ticket, you can still support the Community Cancer Fund by donating on their website.

But, if you are going to the game you will get a rally towel that you can use to cheer on the Zags. There will also be a moment during the game to honor everyone who is currently or has previously fought cancer.

“I Am” t-shirts will be given at the game to spread awareness of the CCF and to build solidarity in the Spokane community against cancer. “I Am” is for anyone in the fight against cancer!
