License of Spokane physician restricted for allegedly performing spine surgeries patients didn’t need

The Washington State Department of Health has immediately restricted the license of Spokane County osteopathic physician for allegedly performing surgeries without clear medical indications.

According to DOH, surgeon Jason Adam Dryer allegedly practiced below medical standards of care by performing extensive spine surgeries on patients who may not have needed the surgeries.

Dreyer cannot perform spine surgeries in Washington until the charges are resolved.
