KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho – A holiday market wrapped up at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds this weekend, bringing together artisans from across the Inland Empire.
Hosted by Humblebee Apothecary and Bumble Bee Jewelry, the market offered local makers a platform to display their unique creations.
Our photojournalist Thomas Walters attended the fair and captured some of the vibrant scenes. The event began on Friday and concluded on Saturday at 6:00 p.m.
The market featured a variety of products such as cocktail infusion kits, pottery, stained glass, canned goods, grass-fed meats, baked goods and tea.
“Everyone that you see here is a maker of some sort, small businesses and the market just kind of came about because there isn’t a lot of events the last weekend before Christmas. And we’re all just all local makers, collaborating and working together to make amazing products and gifts and art pieces to the public,” said a vendor.
The event provided a wonderful opportunity for both vendors and attendees, especially for those seeking last-minute holiday gifts while supporting local businesses.
