The fastest and large COVID-19 outbreak in WA state prison is growing. Inmates at Airway Heights Correction Facility say they know where it started.

They believe it began at the correction facility factory where inmates work to produce goods like food. Nearly 800 inmates and 60 staff members have tested positive for the virus. That is more than 40% of the prison’s current population.
