KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho — The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a suspect involved in damaging property.

On Nov. 8 around 3:54 a.m., a suspect was seen on surveillance footage in the 9300 block of north Government Way in Hayden. They were seen using both fists to slam on a window at Survival Enterprises, causing damage.

This incident is believed to be related to a prior incident that occurred at a Zips earlier that day. There was window damage to the property as well.

At the scene, there was a confetti blaster-type firework located near the window. This may have been used to cause damage to the windows.

Also seen in surveillance footage was an SUV leaving Zips around the time of the incident.

The suspect was seen wearing a gray or light-colored long sleeve hooded sweatshirt with white or light-colored writing/design along the sleeves, a skeleton mask, dark-colored pants and light colored tennis shoes.

If you or anyone you know has information regarding this incident or the suspects involved, please contact Detective Snell at (208) 446-2233 or jsnell@kcgov.us and reference case #23-48685.
